Knits Can Stretch from Work to Play!

Come for an overview of the types of knits on the market, what to watch out for, how to fit, and construction techniques.  Janice has been having fun playing with all types of knits and keen to share what she has learned.

During this pandemic, I’ve hungered for people with common sewing interests like myself, and Janice has come through, once again. I love the assortment of knits that she carries. And I picked up a few clever tricks during this class, one being to always stabilize the seams. This is especially a good thing to do with the “sweater” knits. I’m now working on a sweater set, using fabric from Janice’s shop and using that technique has improved the look immensely. They will be posted on Facebook and Instagram pretty soon. Thanks for all Janice. I’m looking forward to cleaning out my closet!
